Eucalyptus
A nephew has a cutting board made from Eucalyptus from a building floor in Sydney.
It is starting to crack, what type of oil should he use on it < he live s in Vancouver , West coast of Can. Not a Dry climate

I give my board a good heavy wipe over with peanut oil every time the board looks a bit dry. I have been doing this for a few years now and all is well. Before using the board, I put a little rubber foot under each corner, to allow air to circulate underneath.
