    Default Field Maple hollow form

Not done a hollow form for quite a while so thought about time I did another. Made from field maple for the main body, American black walnut for the top and beech for the finial. Was going to colour the finial but liked it the way it looked contrasting against the lid.
The bottom has a little ripple going on.

    Size is 7 1/4" dia and 6 3/4" tall

    Nice piece.

Having a laugh with someone else on another forum, he said about the hollowing so I took a picture for him
