    Default fitting crushgrind

    G'day
I want to make some grinders using Crushgrind fittings . Some advise grinding the locating lugs off and gluing the fittings in rather than cutting the grove to locate them .
    What do most formites do?

Initially when they came out it was easier to trim of the nibs of the sides and glue the mechanism in the housing.
Now with the Robert Sorby relief cutting tool you can cut the groove for the nibs to locate in and this will hold in place for you, certainly easier.

If the tops come off it maybe that the shaft is not going through the top peice far enough and the clip part is not holding on .
