    Default Fog Wood

Hi all, just a few pieces from Fog wood found lying around the farm, all comments welcome. The 2" dark cup is all that was left after that 8" piece on the lathe exploded. Nice FOG wood. You've done well if they all started looking like the one on the lathe.

Cliff, thanks for the explanation, I'd have thought it was one of your woods, after all we have a Smoke Tree, so why not!

I like to use the tail center as long as possibe, even if I have to cut a bit off the end of the piece for it to grab.

Also any suspicious pieces get a couple wraps of duct tape, or if a big blank glass filament packing tape.

    Nice pieces, I especially like # 964 & 961.
So much timber, so little time.
