Forstner bit - looking for imperial size
Bought some Egoscope - kalideascope kits. Needed a 13/16 bit to bore out the hole.
Couldn't get one at the WWW show in Syd so was advised that a 20mm was equivalent.
It is too tight a fit for the kit parts and I need to sand out the hole .6mm to allow the correct fit. Not a great amount but enough to be an embuggerance.
I have tried my usual local (Newcastle) supplies, internet and ebay. No luck.
Does anyone know where I can get a 13/16 forstner bit in Aus?
Thanks
Lyle.

Carbatec at the WWW show in Syd were the ones who sold me the 20mm saying it was the equal to the 13/16.
I have since called them to let them know the conversion 13/16 to metric does not equal 20mm!
Jim jumped in and said Carrolls had them, so have just completed the purchase through them.
Thanks all.

I remember having similar issues with the full size kaleidoscope kits. With those kits the mirrors could be planed down with a block plane. Are the egg kit mirrors planeable?
