Default That Free Eucalyptus Blank from sjt

Before I begin, I claimed this blank from sjt as shown here

Anyway, since Scott was getting cabin favor from being at home, so we changed the plan for him to come here to my place instead.

So after a bit of a show and tell as Scott bought a few of his finished item with him and I showed him what I had laying around, we headed out to the shed and after a bit of discussion, we decided to bandsaw a slice of the top to get rid of some dubious looking bits, then sawed it roughly round.

Rough turned it and discussed shape and this is where it is heading at the moment, might get back onto it tomorrow after I redo someone's driveway around the corner with the bobcat. In the meantime it is still on the lathe with a heavy plastic bag over it Is just under 200mm dia at this stage.

Has a bit of everything, Birdseye, fiddleback and a dead branch. Should look pretty speccy once it's finished.

Now you've wet our appetite - you'd better finish and show us.
