Had the plum prunings indeed been strwaberry I would be inetrested, they would fit in beautifully in my current project, an ebony and snakewood toy box, all cut from pine.
Boring signature time again!

For the turners near Al, plum and most fruit trees turn very well.......I would exclude paw paw and banana from the list though.

Turn well is true; just a b*gger to dry without cracking.

Free to good home
There actually is a strawberry tree, the Irish strawberry. As everything Irish, it is not what it sounds. If you try to eat the fruit, it feels as if you have a mouth full of gravel. But I do like Bushmills. Most Irish people Know what I am talking about. By the way, The wood of the Irish strawberry turns ver well, dense with nise grain and colours.
