    If you want to copy as small image say out of a book and us it to produce a large template, graph paper is a nice easy way to do it. Not to say you couldn't scan the picture then use cad. I have autocad but learning how to use it is still on the to do list

    The Polar Graph is perfect for my home made index wheel for indexed router work. It will be so easy to make a new graph specifically for any particular project indexed exactly as I need it. I've looked for just such a program and this is the long sought answer. Many thanks. Also bookmarked on my machine.

    It's a piece of masonite that fits on behind the chuck which threads uo and holds it in place. Imagine a large oversize washer behind the chuck. The design can be seen in "The Art of the Lathe" by Patrick Spielman ISBN0-8069-4272-X.
