fruit bowl
well since now i know how to post pics ill post some pics of things ive been turing and again thanks to all for all the advice and help you have given me along the way
got this from the side of the road on the way home from a xmas party last year, was quite amusing my wife said after a few drinks trying to put it in the back of the car
not sure exactly what it is but it turned out quite nice about 300mm wide finished with some danish oil
oh and microwave dryed to

Go one step further and try to learn how to post the photos here, that way they stay for ever, plus we don't have to open each and every picture

Mat, whilst Neil is correct that direct upload of pictures is a better option, if you want to continue using Photobucket it would be better if you didn't use the Direct Link option, where all you get is a (you guessed it) a direct link

Click instead on the IMG code option (the link starts with [IMG]) and you get a picture in the post instead of a link that people have to click on to see
Looks better in your post, people see pics instead of a hyperlink they need to click on.

Think Neil means uploading them to the forum rather than linking to photobucket.
Following link needs to be updated to allow for new forum layout but still relevant.

looks like camphor to me.
Isn't turning great you can pick up a stick and make something beautiful. You start with a rough piece and inner beauty reveals itself good work.
