    Hi Smiife,

Looking good, what did you use to hollow it out?

Beautiful piece Smiife. Hat off to you being able to turn that delicate top like that.

    Beautiful work as usual.
    A constructive criticism/opinion
I the reason the lid appears to be a much better polished finish is.
    1. You may have put more effort into the finishing of the lid.
    2. You may have had a better finish on the lid before sanding.
    3. You used triple EEE on the lid but forgot too on the body of the box.

P.S. What finish did you use?

    No offence intended.

    Cheers Mick

Hi Mick, thanks for your thoughts mate, really appreciate it
I am thinking that the top might be a different timber
