Are all glue guns the same?
Hi Fellas, I'm going to buy a glue gun next week, and notice there's not a lot of choice. Probably going for the Bosch from the big green hardware chain. Can anyone recommend any brand or offer any advice? cheers Gary

I have the Bosch from Bunnings.
Have been using it for about 8 years no complaints here.
Cheers Matt.

Glue Gun
I have Bosch green trigger one from Bunnings and it is fine.
8 year old grand daughter uses it a lot.

My partner just bought an ozito cordless glue gun as her other corded one broke, heats fast and lasts for about 45 minutes from one charge. I then found another one she had put in a drawer in the shed and forgot about. An old Bostik one, still going strong.

I have been using a cheap one I got in Bunnings about 20 years ago. No idea the brand but it keeps on going. Never knew there were cordless ones around but then I have not been looking for a while. They are simple tools so if it feels reasonably solid I don't think the brand really matters.
Regards
John

I don’t think you can use the word “solid” when describing a glue gun John [emoji23]
The cordless one is a ripper, I have used it a couple of times and it heats up fast, about 30 seconds. 7.2 volt non removable battery at the base means it stands up without falling over and it doesn’t have one of those wire stands to get in the way. $39.99

I too have a Bosch, but make sure you get the one with the long tip, makes it a lot easier to get into those tight corners
