    Default new grinders

    G'day
After about 15 years use our grinders were starting to show their age , so I decided it was time for replacements .
I had a couple of lumps of olive that I was saving for a special job and decided this was it .
The wood had many fine cracks , typical of olive, that required filling . The shape is rather plain , largely dictated by a flaw in one of the pieces ,but I think the wild grain is all that was needed .
The length is about 330 mm and the finish is DO .
    Comments welcome .

interested to know what mechanism you used, and if you'd use them again? At some stage (after I relocate) I'll be able to set up my lathe and do something like this, and a new set of grinders is on my list
