Is anyone interested in turning a Hairy Oak Lamp?
A lady at my work lost her treasured hairy oak lamp in a fire and is looking to replace it.
She is firstly looking for a quote on cost.
"I am interested in a quote on a lamp base made out of hairy oak, approximately 40-50 cm tall and with all natural burls etc in it."
If you are interested, please pm me your contact details and I'll put you in touch with her. That will be the extent of my involvement in this (besides hopefully drooling at any pictures).
Thanks

Try the club at Toowoomba Wendy. Close to hand and some very good turners there that may be interested, most are retired
