I, and a lot of others there, have a Woodfast Midi. The variable speed is best but the old belt 5 speed is pretty good too.

I get to try my new Vicmarc VL150 this weekend at the Down Under Turn Around at Phillip Island. Will report back on a first use report. Anyone else going?

Thank you David.
I am planning to get to the event and I am organising my travels to be in the area.
if possible I will bring my lathe even though it is only a small one that I travel with but I still get a kick out of turning from wood I find in the rest stops etc.
I have added to my calendars.
Regards
Brian
