What happened to Sherline Woodlathes
G'day
I recently bought a Sherline WTL 1024 wood lathe. However the previous belt it had, had now perished. For anyone out there who is stuck with this problem of not having the Sherline belt, I bought an O ring from a bearing shop in Blacktown ,Sydney.
So far so good and it fits pretty well and at only $3 it doesn't brake the bank.

Thanks for that.
They are 'sherline' but they seem to now just make metal jewellers lathes not wood lathes.
Guess I just continue using the O ring as a belt.
