    Thanks for posting, d5k.

If anyone has not had the opportunity to see Glenn in action I can recommend that. Even us more experienced turners can benefit from watching one of the best in the game. It looks like he will be doing a Dublin Viking bowl in that demo (a slighty closed wet turned bowl) on the 4th Juy.

‘Turn A Closed From’ remote demo-Sat 4th July-8AM Ireland, (9AM Western Europe, 7PM New Zealand, 5PM Sydney) – Glenn Lucas Master Woodturner

Cost looks to be about A$18 (at current exchange rate) to view the live demo and about the same again to download an edited video of the session later, or just the video download for (I think) about A$26.

Glenn is also doing one on turning a thin green open bowl form on the 21 June, but you would need to be a night person to stay up for that one (5pm Irish time/ early hours on 22nd here). That might just work for a night owl in WA.

‘Thin Wall Bowl’ remote demo-Sun 21st June. 12 noon East Coast USA, 9am Pacific (5pm Irish time, 6pm EU) – Glenn Lucas Master Woodturner

The professional woodturners who make a good proportion of their incomes from demonstrations and workshops (few if any can survive from just their turning) have been hit hard by the pandemic. So, this is a good way to support them through this time.
    Stay sharp and stay safe!
