Help needed!
Hi all,
Im a design student at the College of Fine Arts and Im looking for someone who could help me at short notice by turning some simple shapes for me... I will pay of course!!!
If anyone has the time and skills to help it would be soooo appreciated!

Hi Carly. If it hasn't been said, Welcome to the forum. Dunno about time, but there are plenty of skills here. Could you post some sketches of the kind of work you have in mind to help folks decide if they can help you?

Thanks so much for the replies and the kind welcome!
I will post some drawings but basically I need a bowl shape with a flat base of about 50mm diameter and a lip diameter of about 150mm, a height of 70mm and a wall thickness of 5mm...
I need it out of hard wood, which I also need advise for sourcing...
Im a bit cluesless sorry!!! Any help greatly appreciated!

Carly, check out this free soft ware for bowl design. it will greatly assist you in getting your ideas across to your turner
