My first couple of real bowls.
Hi all,
I've been having a bit of a play on the Lathe at the community shed & after a few round pieces of firewood for practice i got stuck in & made these three bowls The first 2 are Macrocarpa & the other is Tas Blackwood. The have all been finished with shellawax.
A big thanks goes out to John T for his patients & instruction

Hey Rattrap,
Those are all excellent looking bowls with a fine finish on each one
Nice choices of wood too.

Thanks very much everyone for the many kind words.
I really do enjoy working on the lathe, I particularly like to turn the Macrocarpa, its a nice soft forgiving wood with some really eye catching grain.
