just try the skate board shop for wheels, and they have a huge choice! but you can get up graded bearings

When I needed them for my 3 wheel steady I went for a walk along the road side shopping mall (hard rubbish collection ) and picked up about 5 pairs of old inline skates for nothing. Used the best and gave away most of the rest to others.
Still have enough to make a larger one for the bigger lathe if I need them.
Peter.

Generally looks good. What are the wheels off?
I used in-line skate wheels on mine no melting, I picked the pair of skates up for $10 gave me 8 wheels from Sallies boutique.
Edited to add: Just saw you post re making me a steady like your first one Thanks for the offer but I made one just prior you making that one and am onto making another ATM this ones not for me tho.Last edited by wheelinround; 5th November 2013 at 07:32 AM. Reason: To add more comment
