    G'Day Bryce

As you can see we both come from Taree, we have a good club locally, meets at the showground, and has plenty of helpful members. If I can be of any assistance send me a message.

    Cheers

Have a gander at this site for an intro to turning:

    http://www.turningtools.co.uk/wtintro/wtintro.html

This commercial site has useful pics and brief descriptions of tool use:

    http://www.toolpost.co.uk/pages/Turn...ing_tools.html

Or google on Henry Taylor turning tools or Robert Sorby turning tools. Both manufacturers, they still will help you id briefly what does what.

I also like this guy: http://www.peterchild.co.uk/index.html

Let us know how you go. Pics are good; don't be afraid to post what you've done. This is a great site for positive feedback for folk honestly trying their hand at this game.
    Cheers, Ern
