Default Help With top quality tools

Hi guys, in a woodworker for 35 years but new to turning. I’m looking to get some very good quality negative rake scrapers and a 3/8 bowl gouge. Recommendations on which brands to get. I have a ton of mid to low quality tools in time to get some good ones. Thanks

You are spoiled for choice in the US.

Doug Thompson, D-way and Carter & Sons are three very good woodturning tool makers. You won't go wrong with any one of those.
    Stay sharp and stay safe!
