At lunchtime the workshop was a warm 27 , worth the effort I've been putting in the last few weeks in further insulating the back of the workshop, only have to do the front entry part.
Made the new door for it today but it's too hot to fit it. I'll wait until tomorrow for that.
Peter.

Jeff...when we lived in Florida, I had a "window" A/C in the shed and, yes, the dust did a number on the flimsy foam filter. Built a 2 inch deep frame which mounted over the intake area, sized for a regular furnace filter. This stopped most all of the dust entering into the A/C itself. Used the shop vac every day to clean that pre-filter. Worked great!Cheers,
Ed

Tried out the new indra red thermometers we sell at Bunnies today, temp in tool shop hovered around low 40s all day. Temp in entrance foyer reached 57 at the north end roller door which was shut to keep out the hot northerly.

One hour after reading 56.9deg we have just had the cool change start to blow though. Very strong winds but a definite change in temp.

My network router had a hissy fit on saturday it got that hot in the house. That was after i gave up on the poor machines in the shed which kept tripping their thermal overloads...
