My shed is an old steel shipping container. No windows and just door at one end. My infra red thermometer showed the roof from the inside at 64.8 deg. Lucky its only 45.6 outside today.

    Today Max 44
    Friday Max 41
    Saturday Max 40
    Sunday Max 40
    Monday Max 39
    Tuesday Max 38
    Wednesday Max 38

It was also over 40C the day before last. So that will be nine days over the old 100Fand likely to be another record having only set a new heat wave record last summer.

So stay cool, if you are in southern Australia.

Well after going for a run this morning I put the electronic themometer in the garage at 7.00am ..... it was then reading 29.3deg.

Went to work and sat in an airconditioned office all day

Returned home at 7.00pm to check max temp in garage ...... disappointed only to find 46.9deg at the workbench surface. On my way back out from the garage the rain arrived which was welcoming ..... still 34.9deg in the house.

You would go BELLYUP if you had a spoon of concrete trying to get out of you.Give it a try and let us know how it goes.Drink plenty of water with it to make sure it works.

Anyhow it is raining here now would you believe.Just stopped as I was typing this drivel

Default I gotta laugh at Melb "heat"

Well Melbourne has been sweltering, though a lot less than up here on the Vic-NSW border. 35 degrees inside the house with the A/C running flat out.

And yes, I've been out in the shed most of the day.....

Doing what? Perhaps some turning? Putting lessons into practice?

    Alas not.

Building damn kitchen cabinets. Big drawer units. And a freebie for 30 VB cans.... Well, we drank most of them on completion, so it was a costly exercise.

    Here they are:

    Attachment 95173

    Attachment 95174

I've thought long and hard about putting A/C in the shed, but figure both refridgerated or a swampy will ruin my stock of redgum.

I shouldn't complain though, as my two kegs of home brew bubbled quickly this week.

    regards Jeff

Don't know how hot it got in my shed today but it did this to my CD player
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Maybe the mirror ball had something to do with it, do you think I should take it down
