Bloody ants
Not only do we have to put up with this heat, but now the house is crawling with bloody ants.
To grow old is inevitable.... To grow up is optional
Confidence, the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
What could possibly go wrong.

Interesting side effect to this heat.
Picked up 2 chisels this morning and the handles fell off.

I had a ferrule come loose on my skew (probably my fitting it though ). I have noticed the clay around the footy oval over the road has opened up to the point where it is dangerous to pedestrians walking at night. Very easy to drop an entire leg into some of the cracks that have opened up.

Beautiful Day Today
Beautiful Day Today
Think I'd better stop bragging about the great weather down this way,
I don't wanna encourage migration from the cities.

Over here I have to wait for half a minute with the Zippo open before trying to light a fag.
Too much vaporising metho.
Anyway, Hughie (the other one) has heard a barbie is in the offing so we'll prob get a shower or two at the turn-fest tomorrow. Damn well happens every time I get the Weber going. So it'll be warm and humid.
But the workshop air con blows right on the back of the turner at the lathe, so I guess everyone'll want to have a goCheers, Ern

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

Yeah Groggy; got two aggy drains and both have opened up.
Put 'em in after a Boxing day downpour a good few years back, when the water was sheeting down on the surface and building up at the back door.
Bring back the good ole daysCheers, Ern

Mad
Are you mad? In the shed in this weather!
Time to do a few of those inside jobs where there's an air-con.
