Default Identify the make of this lathe?

    Hi,
I have this lathe that has no identification at all, hoping someone here may know the make.
The bed is fabricated, galvanised and machined flat, the tail stock and tool post are cam lock.
It has a 3 speed V belt drive, the weight of the motor keeps tension on the belt.
See the photos for a better idea.
    Thanks.

I do belive it may be an old Golding, in spite of being quite cheaply constructed they were quite well thought of.... in their day.....

    Default The Lathe.

    Hi Quench,
Certainly a Golding, as I had one for a number of years, & was made in Geelong, Vic, by Jock Golding & Son.
There were a lot worse than that one around.
    Regards,
    issatree.

One can buy a lot worse right now. Looks to be a decent, honestly made lathe.
So much timber, so little time.
