Info on a sherline wood lathe
Hi all I am hoping that some one can help me I have a sherline wl600 lathe which is a discontinued because it is 30 years old I don't have a manual and have searched the net with no help I am not after a manual I just want to no the shaft screw size so I cAn purchase a bowel chuck which I have found a seller that can make one for it but needs this size the lathe is fixed to a bench and is too hard to remove and am just looking for a easy what out I am hopping that some one can help me thanx jim

I assume this is the model where the drive chuck unscrews. If you do that and take it along to any good hardware store or preferably garage they'll be able to let you know. It's quite a small diameter thread so it's just a matter of trying a few bolts.
