    Default My first inlay of wire

    Hey Guys

    This is my first inlay of wire into piece of jarrah i think i did an ok job need a bit more partice here are some pic of it

    What are you doing??? you only had your lathe for five minutes and you're taking on the world, Great job there, you better bring it around and show me. you probably run out of bits of wood by now, I have a few bits here for you to practice on.

    Thanks I sure am and lovin it gonna do some more with different wire and see how i go im also do some inside out turning

    If you want criticism I'll have to see it close up, coz it looks ok from here!

    Your finish is really good for a beginner. Tiny bit of tearout where you would expect it, but only if your looking for it.
    The inlay really suits that bowl. Very tastefully done. Thats what embellishment is meant to be.

    Thanks you will see it when we get to catch up i will bring it then you can let me know if there room for improvement and my bowl aswell and some the inside out turning if its finished
