Aaw ?
Hi Steve,
Do tell, what is AAW, does that mean The American Assoc. of Woodturners & where was this Event held.
Do you happen to know the Turners Names who made those Excellent Pieces.
There seemed to be a lot of entries, & that was in 2010.Regards,
issatree.

I was under the impression that was the 2011 instant gallery photos.
It came from Steve Worcester's site.
The 2010 instant gallery is on the AAW site here,
http://www.woodturner.org/sym/sym2010/gallery/IG/
I'd love to go to the symposium one year, it'll have to wait until I win lotto or a rich relative dies I guess.
Something to think about:
While Australia has some really talented turners, are we falling behind the standard of the U.S.?
Could the standard be raised, and woodturning be better promoted by a national association in this country?
I have some opinions but I'd like to hear what others think.

He also posted many individual pictures here: jschnell1203's Photostream
No names listed IIRC.

Wow, those are some of the most amazing pieces I have EVER seen. I'm not a big fan of segmented turning but that piece on the first page top right - unbelievable!
