A few items from the Yellow Peril
Hello all, just a few things off the Yellow Peril.
I haven't had much time to turn, as someone decided to to rebuild the mounting for his Dawn 225 vice . . . 2 days later . . . Don't build a bench out of Oregon . . . or inherit one!
Meanwhile, back to the turning.
First cab off the rank is a Sally Wattle Wine Bottle coaster from xmas eve. Yes I had all my jobs done by them, I was able to go and play in the shed!

Next is a Figured Maple Bowl, 225 * 85 from today.

Last is a Coolibah Burl, that is a wip.

Pat
I like the coolabah bowl .
I have been using a random orbital sander , with the lathe stationary , to clean up tram tracks like this . It reduces the the amount of hand sanding.
