    Default Jepson mc 900 wood lathe

    I have just had the variable pulley system on the main drive shaft seize up and looking for information on where in Australia I can buy a replacement Spindle pulley set to replace it. Thanks in advance

    Hi and welcome to the forum.
    Unless something is broken a good clean may be all it needs.
    If the do need replacing then this place may of help. Most MC900 lathes are pretty similar.

    Default Jepson mc 900

    Thanks John I have found out today that Carbatec in Adelaide sell a package of the pulley system as I have destroyed the inner part of the pulley trying to remove it.

    You need to be careful, as there are a few different Reeves pulley sizes, so check the inside/ouside/shaft etc sizes. The JET's for example are totally different to most others, but luckily also made from a better metal, so don't usually fail
