Pictures won't load if you aren't logged in.
There was a bloke who used to come to the Townsville meetings (from Ingham I think) back in the early 90's & he turned miniatures from toothpicks, the round ones.
He got special ones that were used by watchmakers to clean the holes in the jeweled movements.
He would bring them to the meeting in a pill box & he would also bring a magnifying glass so you could see them.Cliff.
