Daunting is not the correct word, especially when one makes a design modification, (Technically known as a "woops") and the 3 "wise" men ask you you "Why?".

No photo's from me as there was a few blokes wandering around with camera's.

It was noted that Jeff did not turn (lucky bugger!) and also managed to avoid me looking at the "secret" stash.

The next platter I am going to do, I am going to think about the shape, plan for the thickness and roll the transition between the bottom and sides on the inside. I better re read some bowl/platter design theory. I have the Richard Raffan book. Any other suggestions?

did a bit of raising onto his toes - Yep I noticed it

But it was Ken who said "Who taught you to turn like that?!!" then "That's actually quite dangerous !"

Ken got a bit jittery with all the turnings way over 2", as there was no valium he turned a couple of small domes out of Gidgee. That settled him down no end!
He then did a fancy toothpick out of osage for me, the man is just ... (there must be a word for it!)
We found this in a shed at the BBQ but unfortunately couldn't lift it into Pat's truck Gary looks like he might ask for one for christmas next year
