Dave, I am leaving at 0800 today, for an easy drive down. I just want to be safely esconded in Kiewa before having to play Roo/Wombat/Possum Bingo on the roads at dusk.

Wish I could be there, but I'm in Bega (not too far away relatively speaking) supporting my best mate in hard times (SWIMBO has only 6-12 months ).

Its Wednesday already not a word has disaster struck and a power outage everyone packed up and went home.
Or did they all feel terrible that DJ was laid up and went and saw him
Maybe woodchips were flying so much they just couldn't drag themselves away.
How you doing DJ hope all is well???

Well I'm back . . . Jefferson is without internet
Woodchips did fly
Jefferson and Tea Lady are the official photographers. I leave the official report to Jeff. I'll just post a few shots to prove I did do the drive
My thanks to Jefferson and Ann for their hospitality, , Jim & Ken for their instructions, tips and good natures, putting up with a boofhead. Especial thanks to the boys wives for their hospitality, even though I rarely eat brekkie. More thanks to Col and Harry & the members from The Albury Wodonga Woodcrafters. Especially Harry, who opened the club's wood store up today. Ray I might have some small fragments of Osage Orange for you, if you behave yourself
I'll give you a road report - The Hume was a good drive, but it was dry all along. Huey, more rain for Southern NSW and Northern Victoria.
I hope I remember 1% of the info imparted by all.
(Also, apologies to Ken for leaving the timber in you car.)Pat

David, I am sure there are pics of the dent & the offending piece. Ray, patience and I did get one cracked slab of Osage with you in mind. A couple of small bowl/platters/ whatever from the thicker section and the other piece for a "pen turner" . . .
