    Default Knife blocks

Knife block fell apart so had to make another 1....or 3.

Easy to make, ripped the spacers on bandsaw & sanded. Glued them & turned on the lathe.
One on left is Jarrah & Celery Top Pine, centre one is WA She-oak & Tassie Oak & right one is WA She-oak & Celery Top Pine.
Little Lady complained that the small knives were at the back, as usual she was right & I was wrong , so a quick trip to the bandsaw remedied that.
While I was at it I thought I would make a Jarrah one for the steak knives. Then I made a spare with the left over timber.
All 3 finished with sanding sealer.
    Another idea from necessity.
    C & C Welcome.

Nice variety of the knife blocks. Are the holes all the way through?

    Thanks for the comments guys.
Just showing a sample of some great timbers we have in Aussie.

Yes, the slots go all the way through, that's why I added the rebated disc on the base.
