    Default Another lamp

    This lamp is a mate's design turned out of juniper then stem has had a couple of coats of WOP!

    No finish on the lamp base!
    It's gone now no chance of sitting on it!
    a pair is not on the plan!
    the base was awkward to turn had a couple of catches. I would of liked to turn a bowl out of the base! But received a nice half log of juniper for turning the lamp!

    this looks good! do you make your own bulb attachment or do you buy some form of lamp kit? I'm interested in having a go at making a lamp.

    Our local lighting shop sells all the bits, lead with or without switch, light fitting and hollow threaded rod. @$18 for the lot.

    Yes Steve, that's the one! They are very helpful, I tried a few others, but there is not much variety probably ring to make sure they have them in stock they were out of black the other week.
