    Quite a lot of figure in there. What size was this bowl?

    Looks like it is a bit dark, did you use a flash when taking this photo?

    Thanks Gents for the kind words.

    Christos its approx 10" dia x 3/12" deep.

    The ambient light is/was dull only fluro above on. Flash was used. Its about 3 shades light now oil is dry and more sanding done this morning. Now to wait till weather stops phissing down and humidity so it can be finished

    Nice looking bowl, beautiful grain and figure there !
    Looks a lot like camphor !
    Good to see what others are turning, hav, nt see many
    forumites putting there work up lately, not sure why ?
    Perhaps no one is making anything these days

    No idea why maybe they have all stopped turning or are on extended leave. Maybe the wives got tired of the time spent in shed or on the forum.

    It could be the wives are tired of us tracking in wood shavings every time we go into the house............. I would post pics but it's a pain to set up the tent, take the pics, and then my computer doesn't want to cooperate with me on downloading the pictures to it. It's a no win situation, so I just don't do, though I would like to show off my 15" Mesquite bowls I've been doing for the last 3 weeks. ................. Jerry (in Tucson)

    Not my LOML she often comes out and cleans up for me dusts me off first.
