Possible new lathe
Hi I am in the market for a new lathe I have been considering the Nova 1624-44-2 Lathe with Stand fits the Budget would appreciate any feedback.

Have a 1624-44 have used it for the last 10 years without any problems what so ever. Would buy another one tomorrow without hesitation. Yes i would love a DVR but can't justify it at double the 1624 price. it has been it use 4 days a week for the past 10 yrs.
Great lathe.

Similar for me, I moved up from a MC900 to a 1624-44 about 10 years ago. It does all I need to do.

the nova's (not the DVR) come up fairly regularly on gumtree so keep an eye out - occasional bargains
