Another use for a lathe
The other night a friend and I was getting ready for the summer mackerel fishing season. We was cleaning and lubing our fishing reels when we notice the line was in bad shape so rather pull the line off 6 reels we chucked up a piece of scrap on the lathe taped the end of the line to it and away we went. Worked like a champ made disposing of the line a snap.

Hope you chopped up the old line into little bits before throwing it out, so bird at the dump doesn't end up strangling in it.
