Lathe Light Re-visited
Some time ago rssr was asking about ideas for a lighting source for the lathe.
I have been using an independent lamp that sits on the workshop floor because my main lathe does not sit along a wall. However, I haven't been happy with it. I regularly have to shift it to a better positon and the power chord is an irritation.
Well, at this time of year I like to do those jobs in the workshop that I have wanted to do all year and one of them was to make an overhead mount for a fan and another for a video camera for doing my YouTube videos.
After getting both of them made I thought the camera mount could double up as a light mount so an adaptor was made. I now can get rid of the floor light and have a go-anywhere light for the lathe that doesn't get in the way when I do a clean up.Over Head Light Mount.jpgOver Head Fan Mount.jpg
