As I was out the back of Burke at Wheelie place I though that I might bring some wood with me. This all came about from a comment from him on some wood in the back ground from a photo.
Not a very clear photo as I think it might have come out a little darker.
Imagine my surprise when he said that he was right for wood.

I see the battery finally charge up Christos.
Citrus Punch tea real nice unlike Milk and Peppermint with a table spoon of honey Oh and those 4 bits of cake I had one guess who had the rest plus 2 cookies.
You could have showed the tool rests.

I did not take any photos on the day of the tools rest. The photos I took that were different I posted.
I will share one more thing, why Wheelie was grinding away the metal to cut the bar I was standing behind him and got me thinking that I was one of those secret service men guarding the president. "Just out of harms way, ready to dodge a bullet"

Had some time today to do a little more work on the lathe.
These are the tool rest that Wheelie made, just gave them a quick clean as some splatter from the welding was on the top bar.

I could say that I have a water fall of citric acid to the entrance of the work shop, but that's not true.
Quick run over the joint with a friends grinder, then some filing, brass wheel on the drill press finished with a light sand.
No sharp bits or edges and I am hoping nothing to catch when moving the tool on the rest. But that I am going to find out when I actually mount something on the lathe to get an idea of where the chisel will actually ride.
