Symtec cutting tools
Hi all, just a quick question. I have a Symtec lathe that is now about 20 years old and is in need of a cutting tool. Having read the previous posts about the closure of Symtec some years ago, does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks, Tzza.

A friend of mine used a postie scooter axle of all things... actually was better than the original(chattered less).

Cheers Harry72 I've got a mate who's a postie, I'll ask him if he can get his hands on an axle for me.

Hello TZZA
I know your enquiry is a liitle out of date, but Symtec cutters are available from SA made of HSS & heat treated for a better cutting edge.
Hope you're turning plenty
