Left hand Woodfast faceplate

Good afternoon all,

Hoping someone can point me in the direction of where I can obtain a faceplate with a Left Hand M30x3.5 thread for the outboard mount of my Woodfast lathe.

I see that Hare and Forbes used to sell them, but they're discontinued. I've emailed Woodfast, tried ringing a few suppliers but no luck. I can have one machined but I imagine the cost will be significantly more than a ready made one. Size of the faceplate doesn't matter.

Try emailing Vicmarc, they use the same thread so might be something they have on hand or could make.

I will give them a call, thank you. Certainly nothing on their website but you never know if you don’t ask

Give Vermec a call, I have 2 of the Left hand thread inserts in Vermec faceplates.

Yep, called but no answer. Was going to try again but figured I’d ask here in the mean time.
