    Default Turned legs

I am looking for something like this:

House of Wood Coffee Table Leg

Is there anywhere to buy these off the self in Tas blackwood?

Otherwise, hoping someone in Melb with a lathe can help me out in making this if this is something that they do/sell (355x125mm) - obviously happy to pay. I am happy to glueup the blank too.

Or maybe this is the excuse to buy a lathe? hehe

Those pillars are 125.41mm in diameter, would you be able to get 130mm (or 135mm to allow for run out and possible hidden just under the surface defects) square blanks, rather than gluing up?

Are you intending to paint the timber, in a similar fashion to the link one you gave?

    Where in Melbourne are you?

    Mick.

"Tasmanian Blackwood" don't think too much paint will be involved, to answer you question I would be very surprised if there were any of the shelf examples it will be a case of finding some one to make them.

I am in SE Melb. It doesnt have to be exactly 125mm nor the exact profile. Something similar profile and 120mm wide would be fine. I didnt even know 130x130mm stock existed but gluing boards together I am fine with. Do not intend to paint. If you or anyone else willing to do the turning for me (I am happy to do the glue up) I am happy to pay
