lidded camellia bowl or box
G'day
This is made from a camelia crotch . You can see a bark inclusion in one of the pictures . The lid is embelished with a"cosmic cloud" design . The size is about 130mm diam. by 75mm high, excluding the finial and the finish is DO .
Camelia is a joy to turn and 100mm long shavings are the norm .

Ted, I like the cosmic cloud, not sure about the bead at the top of the body though. Nicely finished too..
