    Default A little more turning

    I managed to have a bit more fun in the shed with a little turning the other day. Made this little box from scrap wood, mahogany and olive wood the coin is 22.5mm dia

    Nice detail for such a small turning, the ogee of the stand is of good proportions.

    Things must be very tough at the moment as you didn't have enough scrap to make it out of one piece, you had to laminate two together, and even then you couldn't make it big enough to fit the coin in.
    Really a top job with good detail . Can't imagine doing things that small.
