    Default Little brag

Just had my second wood work article printed in the UK magazine WoodTurning. Saw it last night, and just been advised that my third article is about to be published in the Australian Wood Review. My first, and in my opionion the best was an article I did for the Australian Wood Review on Carving and polishing burls

    Ah-ha, got it.

Sorry Willy, I did not clock your name at the end of the article, but thought is so funny I had to read it out to the wife to give her a chuckle too.

Yes, a little annoyed, I also sign as David 'Willy' Nelson, but they changed it. The article heading was changed as well from

'The Dangers of dust and portable respirators'

Glad you thought it funny, the punchline was also drastically changed, but won't mention it here.

    Cheers

    Default Burls

    Hello Mate
Yep just bought some more Jarrah burls. I thought I was getting Blackbutt and 1/2 back caps, but turned out to be another just another ton of WA firewood, or Jarrah Burl slabs to the easterners.

Bit tight for room, but that is another excuse to get out and turn, to make room. I threatened the kids with stacking burl slabs under their beds, they would never know.
