Mango bowl
Haven't had a lot of shed time of late with a new bub in the house but managed to grab a couple of hours yesterday and knocked this bowl out. The slab of timber it came from didn't look very promising so I was pleasantly surprised when the colour and grain started to show. The good news is there is enough left for another couple this size. The timber is Mango, sanded to 400, EEE and shellawax cream. Diameter is about 280mm and about 40mm high. Comments and criticisms welcome.

Nice bowl there... The grain has shown up well, and I like the low profile.
Cheers,
Dave

Mango can be so nice when you get a bit without blue stain.
Cliff.

Very attractive piece of work. Personally I would take a bit more material from the inside.
