    Default Mango Bowl

Turned this small bowl today from Mango, simple form, finished with Shellawax, about 20cm in diameter. This little bowl is saved thanks to corbs who demonstrated his bowl saver on the bigger mango bowl blank - this one would be lost if I was turning the big one without bowl saver. The big one is still to come.

It is pretty soft, with long fibres (this is how it feels), that are easy to tear when you go across the grain. So sharpening tools before final cuts is highly recommended.

I really like mango but I hate the blotchy blue stain that it can get, that is a nice piece.

What they said, really nice. Simple well finished = Classy.
