    Default Iron wood

I have not posted here for some time as I have been busy on the dark side
This bowl was made from local Iron wood it is 155mm wide and 56mm high.
It was sanded to 400grt and then EEE and Shallawax as a finish.
I have started making a small collection of small bowls of different types of timbers. I will post some more later.
I hope you mob like it

Great bowl from beautiful wood, good show RP.

Ironwood is by far my favourite wood, i love working with the stuff. i think i need to move back up north so i've got access to bigger pieces than just pen blanks.

If you ever come up this way I will load your car up I have access to approx 500 acres of Iron wood trees. I would be happy to post some to you but the freight would be a killer due to the weight.

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
