    Question Mastercraft 36in lathe troubles

I'm having troubles with my lathe , when I'm doing work between centers or hollowing a bowl I get horrible vibration.I use the right angles and technique like my woodshop teacher said . I'm not sure but I think it's because the headstock can rotate 180 degrees to do outboard turnings. Does anyone know how to fix this or get around this?

Not familiar with this lathe, but if it has roll pins like the mc900 check to see if one is missing from one of the claws(if indeed it uses the same lockdown system as the mc900).

I'm also not familiar with that lathe but does it vibrate without anything in it? If that's the case, then I'd also check for a bent spindle.
